Negotiated and drafted million dollar management agreement on behalf of
University client concerning physical plant and all food service for student
residents on campus. Negotiated and drafted subsequent years' agreements,
with modifications based on historical data.

Negotiated and drafted various publishing contracts on behalf of clients
including orthopaedic surgeons from Harvard University and University of
Chicago concerning a multi-volume book on Musculoskeletal Oncology and urologists
and nurses concerning book on children's wetting and enuresis. Also drafted
agreements for clients to use with contributing authors.

Represented sellers in million dollar stock sale of grain and fertilizer
businesses.

Negotiated and drafted distributorship agreement on behalf of French design
and manufacturing company concerning dental instruments. Agreement negotiated
with American company and its dealer network.

Prepared and prosecuted insurance claims on behalf of various clients, including
photo processing corporation for damage to computerized processing equipment
and medical trade association for claims involving alleged violation of
copyright.

Represented cable television company in application for authorization to
provide cable television in certain zone within the City of Chicago, as well
as appeal from initial denial of authorization. Also negotiated favorable
settlement of litigation concerning unfair competition by competing cable
company.

Investigated potential malpractice claim against accounting firm client.
Work included analysis of audit work papers, tax returns and correspondence,
and interviews with principals at accounting firm. Legal research and preparation
of opinion letter which led to favorable settlement of potential claim prior
to litigation.

Negotiated medical practice employment agreements on behalf of various physicians
and medical services providers.

Represented national church organization regarding investigation of local
member church and its compliance with national charter.

Represented various professionals in licensing hearings before the Illinois
Department of Professional Regulation.
