Finney Co., et al. v. Desco Corporation, (Circuit Court of DuPage
County, IL). Represented manufacturing company in breach of contract
action seeking recovery of assets, including domestic and foreign patent
technology. Favorable jury verdict resulting in recovery of assets valued
in excess of $4 million.

Avnet, Inc. v. Kramer, (U.S. Dist. Court,
E.D. PA). Represented distributor alleged to have wrongfully solicited
competitor's employees and otherwise violated restrictive covenants in employment
contracts. Ruling by court resulted in favorable settlement.

General Electro Music Corp. v. Samick Music Corp., (U.S. District
Court, N.D. IL). Represented piano manufacturer claimed to have
infringed patented design for digital grand piano and related trade dress
rights. Issues include validity of patent over prior art, enforceability
of patent in light of inequitable conduct during original patent prosecution,
and claims of trade dress rights. Favorable jury verdict finding no infringement
by client and resulting in opponent's patent rights being declared invalid.

Riordan v. City of Joliet, et al., (U.S. District Court,
N.D. IL). Represented plaintiff in §1983 civil rights case with
appended State law claims against police department, officers and alleged
conspirator. After defeating all defendants' summary judgment motions based
on qualified immunity, etc., (See 3 F. Supp. 2d 889
(1998)) favorable settlement obtained.

Railroad Technology v. Citicorp Railmark, Inc.,
(U.S. District Court, N.D. CA). Represented national railroad
leasing company in breach of contract claim involving alleged broker's fee
in multimillion dollar rail car acquisition. Favorable ruling obtained with
finding of no liability against client.

Dolezal, M.D. v. Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, (Circuit
Court of Cook County, IL). Represented plastic surgeon-officer of medical
services corporation concerning wrongful termination, enforcement of covenant
not to compete, and shareholder's breach of fiduciary duty.

200 North Michigan Ave., etc. v. Bruegger's Corp., (Circuit Court
of Cook County, IL). Represented defendant tenant in breach of lease
case involving landlord's failure properly to mitigate damages. Obtained
favorable bench verdict.

DiPietro Plumbing v. Tiburon Construction Co., etc., et al., (U.S.
Dist. Court, N.D. IL). Represented construction subcontractor
and owner's payment and completion bond company in dispute concerning proper
construction and rehab of factory into residential loft building.

Camera Craft, Inc. v. Edgebrook Limited Partnership and Walgreen
Co., (Circuit Court of Winnebago County, IL). Represented retail
camera business in lease dispute seeking injunctive and other relief relating
to competitor business. Obtained injunctive relief and negotiated favorable
settlement of remaining claims.

Milwaukee Affiliated Chiropractic Services v. PrimeCare Health Plan
Insurance Corp., (Arbitration in Milwaukee, WI). Represented chiropractic
services provider in action against HMO entity and its successor-in-merger
for breach of exclusive provider agreement. Obtained favorable award.
